Nearly everything is blooming around here. The plum is not, but peaches, almonds, apples, blueberries and peas are. The potatoes are going bonkers and the new little raspberry plants are sending out some new growth.
Back in the end of November, I started thinking it was time to do the copper spray on the fruit trees. Based on a class I took at Walter Andersen’s, the best 2 times to do the copper spray are in the fall when about 90% of the leaves have dropped and in the spring at bud break. Well, I missed the first one, but I got out a couple weeks ago to spray – just in time because it’s all blooming now!
